General Feeding advice:

Please make sure you feed the birds dill year round, as they quickly become used to local sources of food. Whilst the winter can be a demanding time due to the natural scarcity of food, the spring and summer are important breeding periods so nutritious foods should always be available.

• Peanuts should  always be fed in a specialist peanut feeder as they can pose a choking risk to some birds.
• Always provide a clean source of drinking water.
• Feeders should always be cleaned regularly with a mild disinfectant solution to avoid a build-up of food residue and bacteria.

Match the feeder to the food. Peanuts and Nyjer Seed in their own specialised feeders, free flowing seed mixes and straight foods in a normal tube feeder and mixes designed for tables or ground feeding should be fed accordingly.

• Keep feeders away from potential predators, best achieved by locating away from hedges or shrubs and at least 1.2 metres off the ground.
• Store this product in a cool and dry environment and protect from rodents.
